After spending a long time inside the cocoon, finally OS X Yosemite put its first step with a tag of a superstar. But, the question arise, is OS X Yosemite is flawless operating system? Lets check out, which kinds of problems a user can face. Black screen, finder problem,WiFi issues are most common one, a user can face. Bluetooth problems are also a nightmare for the users as it can not connect to the bluetooth speakers on Yosemite with other bluetooth enabled devices. Though, I am admitting that, you may not going to face those problem. Because, not all users are facing these problem.
It is not a lie that, when I came to know the fact that, I am viable for upgradation and it is free, a joyous sense just took me though, I was in a two mind when, I came to know that, I have to download 5.16 GB. Still, I gone through the procedure. Now, everything is going as I expected. But few of friends facing problem with this new version of OS X Yosemite. So, today I am penning down few of those problem and probable fixes.
WiFi Problem
Few of the user facing a mysterious problem that, are associated with WiFi. I guess, it’s one of the most untoward problem that are facing the user. So, what are the problems really are? There are shutting up of network connectivity, again establishing the connection automatically, increase in page loading time etc. Now, the fixes you can try by yourself is simply configure your router. If it not works then, I will request you to just go through the reddit. You may find probable fixes.
Battery Life
Few of the user reported a low battery life when, they are working with OS X Yosemite. You can fix it through the “Activity Monitor”. Launch it from the applications folder and select the “Energy” menu. Stop the application which is consuming more energy unnecessarily.
Performance Problem
This is the most common among the above all. If the laptop is bit old then, you may encounter this in daily basis. Now, to overcome this you may reduce the fancy effect of OS X Yosemite. Just open “System Preference” and launch “Accessibility”. From there you may reduce the transparency.
Secondly, I will suggest you, not to use Google Chrome for web browsing. Though it is a great application, still it reduce the performance. So, use Safari instead of Chrome if you want to enjoy every bit of performance of Yosemite.
Third, go to the notification and disable those widgets that you will not going to use anyway. To achieve this go the notification and click edit. Click the red button to delete the widget from the list. This is one of positive move after all.
Last but essential move to squeeze few performance from Yosemite is just open “System Preference” and select Dock. Now find “Minimize Window Using” and change from Ginei effect to scale effect.
So, these are few common problem some user are facing anyway. I also want you to suggest that, always go for a fresh installation instead of simply upgrading from app store.
